Johnny Depp, The Pirates of the Caribbean star, 45, has signed to star in two new high-profile Disney projects – and has also agreed to reprise his role as Capt. Jack Sparrow in a fourth Pirates of the Caribbean movie now in development
He has been cast as Tonto in a movie version of The Lone Ranger and as the Mad Hatter in Tim Burton’s version of Alice in Wonderland, due out in 2010.
